Nick graduated from the University of Adelaide and achieved a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1998 before heading to Mildura to work for a couple of years. He returned to Adelaide two years later and has been working in the north eastern suburbs of Adelaide ever since.
Dr. Maxted enjoys the combination of working with his hands and interacting with patients on a daily basis. Dr Maxted is particularly focused on keeping up to date with the latest technology and techniques in order to deliver the highest quality treatment to his patients. He has a keen interest in implant dentistry and cosmetic dentistry. He is a member of the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry (ASID) and the Australian Osseointegration Society (AOS) and has completed the 1 year gIDE/Loma Linda University Master Clinician program in implant dentistry in 2013.
Outside of the practice, Nick enjoys tennis, snow skiing and scuba diving.
Dr Nick Maxted is available to see patients on Thursday.
Born and raised in Adelaide, Michael received his Bachelor of Dental
Surgery (BDS) from the University of Adelaide where he was awarded the
Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons Prize in his final year of
study. He has been servicing the dental needs of the north east suburbs of
Adelaide since 2018.
Michael enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and takes particular time
and attention in providing his patients with positive dental experiences. He
sees many anxious patients at our practice, and enjoys seeing their
confidence progress from appointment to appointment. He works regularly
under intravenous (IV) sedation for those with higher level anxiety.
Outside of the practice Michael enjoys fishing, running and supporting his
favourite sporting teams - whether it be the Australian Cricket team or the
Golden State Warriors in the NBA.
Dr Michael Previn is available to see patients on Wednesday/Friday/Saturday.
Dr. Bakir Assafi earned his Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours) from La Trobe University in Victoria, where he received the Provost’s Commendation Award.
Before embarking on his dental career, Bakir was a qualified barber, providing specialised barbering services in Victoria and South Australia. It was through this experience that he discovered his true passion for healthcare and ultimately dentistry, driven by his long-standing desire to make a positive impact on people's lives.
While he enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, Bakir is particularly passionate about surgical procedures and dental implants. His primary mission is to offer patients a positive experience, deliver high-quality results, and guide them in achieving their long-term dental goals.
Outside of his professional life, Bakir enjoys traveling, spending quality time with his family, and participating in community events.

Hayley started her career in dental at the age of 17, working as a dental nurse after graduating high school. Before completing her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the University of Adelaide, Hayley was a qualified health and physical education teacher in Western Australia, but found herself being drawn back to dentistry and healthcare.
Hayley enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, but in particular enjoys connecting with her patients and assisting them in improving their oral health.
In her free time, Hayley enjoys playing club netball for the Adelaide Wildcats, pursuing a range of hobbies and spending time with her three cats - Rosie, Lola and Vespa.
Dr Hayley Hogen-Esch is available to see patients on Tuesday/Wednesday.
Mai earned her Bachelor of Oral Health from the University of Adelaide in 2019.
With a compassionate approach, Mai strives to create a welcoming atmosphere that makes patients of all ages feel comfortable and relaxed.
She is dedicated to educating her patients about maintaining their oral health and the significance of good dental hygiene.
In her free time, Mai loves to spend quality moments with her family and explore new restaurants and cafes with her fiancé and friends.
Mai is available to see patients on Thursday/Friday.
Sumayyah completed her Bachelor of Oral Health (Adult Scope) at the University of Adelaide in 2025. Her passion for dentistry began with her own positive experiences at the dentist growing up, which inspired her to create the same sense of comfort and trust for her patients.
She especially enjoys the creative and hands-on aspects of restorative dentistry, discovering early in her studies how much she appreciated the craftsmanship and attention to detail involved in restoring smiles. Sumayyah is particularly passionate about working with children, focusing on creating positive memories and providing gentle, supportive experiences that help set young patients up for a lifetime of confident dental care.
Outside the clinic, Sumayyah enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, travelling, getting outdoors, and playing soccer.
Sumy is available to see patients on Monday/Tuesday.
Katrina started her dental career in 2011 as a Dental Assistant, and graduated with an Advanced Diploma of Oral Health (Dental Hygiene) in 2018 through TAFE SA.
Katrina ensures to provide a relaxing environment for patients with gentle and thorough treatment, and works well with patients with dental anxieties. She is also experienced working in orthodontics, and proficient in teeth whitening.
Outside of work she enjoys finding new places to have coffee, reading a good book, and watching her favourite sporting teams compete.
Katrina is available to see patients on Saturday.
